Atmiya University was established in March 2018 is a private university located in Rajkot, Gujarat. After the Bill was approved in March of 2018 university was established by Sarvodaya Kelavni Samaj.

  Prepare the students for high-level research and develop a set of core skills in them to work with efficiency in the various areas of Science, Management, Pharmacy and Engineering is one of the primary objectives of the Ph.D. programme at Atmiya University. To create new scientific knowledge this includes the ability to independently apply methodologies of scientific research. Skills to undertake and to effectively communicate research results are needed in order to succeed in postgraduate studies. Thus, it is important to assume an adequate knowledge and understanding of the problems, research methodologies, historical developments, theory formulation and societal importance of the scientific disciplines which are related to the candidate’s own research field.

  Admission Process

  • Through an Entrance Test consists of written  University shall admit Ph.D. (both Full Time and Part Time-Internal and External )
  • The admission will be based on norms of the UGC and other statutory bodies concerned.
  • The Atmiya University will admit candidates by a two-stage process through:
  • Entrance Test: The Entrance Test (AUMPET) shall be a qualifying test for admission with qualifying marks as 50%. The syllabus of the AUMPET shall consist of 50% of research methodology and 50% shall be subject specific–as per syllabus of paper II of *UGC NET/CSIR NET examination in the concerned subject

    Atmiya University, established in the 2018 year, location Kalavad Road, Yogidham, Gurukul, Rajkot, Gujarat, is spread over 23.5 acres of land in divine surroundings. Atmiya was the first to introduce BCA & B.Sc (IT) programs in Gujarat State and Biotechnology, Biochemistry & Industrial Chemistry in Saurashtra region. At the UG level, it offers  B.com, B.Pharma,  Bachelors of Business Administration General, B. Tech, BBA Hons., and Bachelor of Arts. The postgraduate level, offers M.Tech, Master of Business Administration,  Master of Computer Application, M.Pharma, and M.Sc.     Atmiya University Admissions :

    . Admissions toaster of Business Administration and Master of Computer Application will be based on Common Management Admission Test.

    . Admissions to M.Tech courses for which admission will be based on the marks secured in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering / Post Graduate Common Entrance Test.

    Atmiya University Ph.D. Program :

    The Ph.D. Program  Atmiya University is offered both regular and part-time basis. Research in Drug Discovery focuses on areas related to medicinal chemistry, such as small molecule development, natural products isolation and characterization, organic synthesis, chemical biology, rational drug design, pharmacology, toxicology, cellular differentiation, development, and disease. Drug Delivery/development emphasizes principles in physical chemistry, biomaterials, and drug transport, aiming for advances in formulation, drug targeting, and multi-modal therapy. Delivery research includes the solid-state chemistry of drugs, nano-pharmacy, biocompatibility,lottery sambad molecular recognition, computational chemistry, and pharmacokinetics. This course will enable the Research Scholars to understand and apply basic research methods in their research study including research design, data analysis, and report findings for generalizing research conclusions apparently based on the parameters of particular research methods.  Ph.D. Course duration is 4 years.

    Atmiya University Eligibility for Ph.D. Course :

    For General applicants: Minimum of 55% marks in PG.

    Also for Other Backward Class, SC, ST, and Differently able candidates: Minimum of 50 percent in Post Graduation.

    Aspirants with previous experience in the field of research or job become strongly selected for the Ph.D.

    Students belonging to the reserved category will have a relaxation of 5% when applying for the program.

    Atmiya University, established in 2018, is spread over 23.5 acres of land in divine surroundings. His Divine Holiness the Hariprasad Swamiji Maharaj, the present spiritual successor of the Lord Swaminarayan is the mentor of the TAMIYA University. Atmiya University is one of the six institutions in India to sign an MoU with the University of the Miyazaki.
