DAV College is located in Ambala in Haryana state of India. accepted in 1948, it is accredited from NAAC and it is associated to Kurukshetra University. DAVC, Ambala provides 18 courses across nine streams namely IT, Management, Design, Commerce & Banking, Arts, Vocational, Medical, Science, Performing Arts and across 8 degrees like BSc, B.Com, BBA, BCA, BA. DAVC campus is spread over 15 Acres. Hostel facility is not available for its candidates. Additional campus facilities such as Computer Lab, CSC, Convo. Hall, Auditorium, ATM, Canteen, Counselling, Gym, Theatre, Library are also there.

N.C.C. (NATIONAL CADET CORPS):
The college has a company of 110 Cadets connected to the 2nd Haryana Battalion N.C.C., Ambala. We also have a Girls Wing in the N.C.C. consisting of fifty three cadets. N.C.C. offers various opportunities to candidates to participate in many activities like Advanced Leadership Training Camp, Rock Climbing, Regular Army Attachment Camp, Para Camp etc. The B and C certificates awarded to candidates by N.C.C not only facilitate their admission to many courses, but they can also help them get a direct commission in the Army.
N.S.S. (NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME):
The Education Policy lays much importance on the relationship of the youth with the wider community outside the institution. National Service Scheme provide opportunities to the candidate-Volunteers to inculcate and imbibe a sense of dignity of labour and service to the community. Its guiding principle is study through service to humanity. The candidates are provided an opportunity to attend N.S.S. camps and interact with rural community. This donate them first hand information of how and where the real India lives. N.S.S. covers a vast area of human experience that is vital for the informal education of a young man / woman. The college has been allotted three N.S.S. units (2 boys unit and one girls unit) of 100 seats each under National Service Scheme.
