The International School for Population Sciences serves as a local Institute for Coaching and Analysis in Population Studies for the ESCAP country. It was settled in Mumbai in 7th of 1956, till 7th of 1970 it was known as the analytical Coaching and Analysis Centre (DTRC) and till 1985 it was called as the Global Institute for community Studies (IIPS). The School was re-nominate to its current title in 1985 to aid the development of its academic enterprise and was announced as a 'Assume University' in 19-08-1985 bottom branch 3 of the University Grant Commission move, 1956 by the exhortation of Human Asset Development, Authority of India. The acceptance has ease the award of accepted degrees by the School itself and brick the way for further development of the School as an academic institution.
