Akal University

Akal University was established in 2015 and is located in Bathinda, Punjab. At present, the university offers a BA, B.Sc, and B.Com at the UG level. Similarly, at the PG level, MA, M.Sc, and M.Com courses are offered. Integrated B.Ed programs are offered for the four years duration. Akal University also offers a Ph.D. program in the seven specializations.

Application forms for all the courses are to be filled out online and have to be submitted to the University office in the college.

A student may apply for more than one subject with a separate application form and application fee for each course.

For admission to the BA, B.Com, and B.Sc courses, students should have passed HSC from the recognized board with a minimum 60% marks.

Minimum Eligibility for the PG courses is Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with at least 60% marks.

Selection of all the UG and PG courses is done on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination.

Admission to the Ph.D. program is done on the basis of the entrance exam conducted by the University.

How to Apply

Visit the official website of the university.

Click on the Admission tab and then on Apply Online.

A new page will appear where students must fill out the form, upload the required documents and then click on the submit.

For download, students must click on the Downloads tab and then on the Admission forms General or Admission form Ph.D.

Fill out the form and then attach the required documents.

Submit or send the form to the university.

Students can also obtain the prospectus cum application form by paying the INR 200 from the University office.

Self-attested copy of the SSC or equivalent examination certificate bearing testimony to date of the birth.

Self-attested copy of the Detailed Marks Card of the qualifying examination.

Character certificate issued by the Head Master or Principal of the school/college last attended.

Recent passport size self-attested the three photographs.

Self-attested photocopy of the Aadhar Card.

Reserved category certificates (if applicable).

Students with a gap of one or more years will have to submit an affidavit to the satisfaction of the Admission Committee.

Persons with the Disability must submit a certificate issued by the Chief Medical Officer of the concerned district, which should clearly indicate the extent of the disability (Minimum 40% permanent disability is required).

85-90%- 75% of Tuition Fee INR 24,750

80-85% - 50% of Tuition Fee INR 16,500

70-80% - 25% of Tuition Fee INR 8,250
