  Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University (TMBU) was formerly known as the Bhagalpur University. Established in 1960, TMBU is sprawled over areas of 264 acres, this pedagogical university has 12 constituent colleges, 25 affiliated colleges Government funded, and 4 research universities.
