About Phd Program

PhD is known as Doctor of Philosophy. It is most advance research degree and the highest degree in many countries. Candidate can do PhD full time or part time. Candidate will get exemption in duration who have M.Phil., or M. Litt.

• Full-time Programme: Min 3 years - Max 5 years (including course work)
• Part-time Programme: Min 3 years - Max 6 years (including course work)
• Candidate should have Master Degree in Arts, Master Degree in Science, Master Degree in Education, Master Degree in Commerce with 50% marks for who cleared Master before 1991 and 55% marks for those who cleared Master Degree after 1991 from a recognized university. Candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) will get relaxation of 5% marks. The candidate will get admission after he will be clear the Entrance Test Organised by the university. 
• A relaxation of two years for Ph.D. in the maximum duration may be allowed to women candidates and Persons with Disability (more than 40% disability). For up to 240 days women candidates may be provided Maternity Leave/Child Care Leave once in the entire duration.
