Inspired by the spirit and charism of St. Anthony Mary Claret, the Claretian Missionaries, an international religious order established St. Claret College (SCC) Bangalore in 2005. Over the past decade and a half, SCC has chartered an impressive growth, developing thousands of young men and women for professional lives and service to humanity. Location of Saint Claret College Lower Subansi

A degree school at Ziro had been a since quite a while ago esteemed dream of the general population of Lower Subansiri locale, particularly the general population of Ziro valley. In 2001, an appointment from Ziro moved toward the Catholic ward of Tezpur with the solicitation for the equivalent. In the debut year, the school offered B. A. courses in Economics, English, History, and Political Science for a bunch of 16 understudies. In 2004, three additional courses were included: Anthropology, Education, and Geography. Hostel

The college provide separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. Number of Seats in Girls Hostel is 70 and Number of Seats in Boys Hostel is 30.

Laboratory

All labs are well equipped with latest equipments.

Library

St Claret College encourages all Claretines to make use of the library facilities to the maximum. The library books shall be handled with care, without causing any damage to them. Loss of book/ damage should be notified to the librarian immediately. Damages will have to be paid for. Seating capacity of Library Reading Room is 60, Number of Books in the Library is 5,000, Number of Journals subscribed is 30 and Number of Multimedia literature is 50.

Saint Claret College Lower Subansiri Admission Process

The admission process for different courses offered by the college varies depending on the eligibility criteria and availability of seats. The college conducts entrance exams for some courses while for others, admission is based on merit.St. Claret College offers M.Com, MSW and MBA program in its curriculum. Applicants who have a B.Com degree or BBA degree from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible for admission to M.Com. Admission to the M.Com course is given based on the candidate’s performance in the qualifying exam, and interview.

The minimum eligibility requirement for admission to MSW is a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) with 50% in aggregate of all subjects.

The college offers the MBA program in Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Banking Finance & Insurance Services (BFIS). The minimum eligibility requirement for admission to the MBA is a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant discipline with 50% in aggregate of all subjects.
