Established in the year 1971, Radhamadhab College, Silchar has completed 50 Golden years of its establishment. On behalf of the College fraternity I take this opportunity to express my gratitude and thanks to all the stakeholders who have made this possible and were with us in those last fifty years of our glorious journey. I also congratulate the students who have chosen this institution for pursuing their higher Education. I am sure that every student will develop themselves academically, mentally, physically and spiritually in our healthy academic atmosphere and in the long run each one of them will turn out to be responsible citizens with great social commitment.The College offers Arts course at both H.S and Degree level and Commerce course only in the Degree level. Affiliated under Assam University, Silchar, Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) is currently in vogue, which is based on inter-disciplinary approach. Moreover, to keep pace with the changing scenario of Higher Education and to prepare the students to face the changing global world, the College is all set to embrace and adopt the New Education Policy-2020. We live in an era in which the quality of higher education is measured in terms of ranking and accreditation. Right now, we are marching towards the 3rd Cycle of NAAC accreditation with more vigour and dynamism.

Radhamadhab College Placements

As i mention above that the college does not offers so much placement for their students but from last year i get an idea that some of the companies are coming and offered a job for students of college. As i am in second year of the course B.Sc i did not have much information about the companies.

At PLRCT believe in inculcating confidence through knowledge. PLRCT instill critical thinking in our students and this makes the leaders of tomorrow self reliant and lifelong learners. This approach has its obvious results as seen through the lens of student placements.The faculty members help you with the career aspects of your course. But the students have found jobs on their own in various fields like Interpreter, Lead Features Editor, Content Editor, Journalist, Bilingual Call Centre, Customer Service Representative, Letter translator, among others such. Sadly the college did not offer any such facilities. Therefore the students had to be self dependent for their jobs. Students found employment opportunities as Office Managers, Project Assistants, business analyst, Executive director, Independent consultant etc.
