In the year 2005, the general public began Physical Education College known as Mata Gurdev Kaur Memorial Shahi Sports College of Physical Education Jhakroudi (Samrala) Distt. Ludhiana under the Chairmanship of Smt. Sarbjit Kaur. S. Gurvir Singh Shahi was chosen the General Secretary of the general public. The school is partnered with Panjab University, Chandigarh and endorsed by National Council for Teacher Education and the Government of Punjab.
