Establishment year: 01/03/1983 

Govt. Designing College was set up on 01 walk 1983. The college began with only a passage limit of 20 in structural designing. Following a year in 1984, Mechanical designing was begun with a limit of 30. In the year 2000, gadgets and IT branch were begun with a passage limit of 30 each. In 2005-06, electrical designing was begun with a confirmation limit of 30 understudies. In the year 2010 the admission limit of structural designing and hardware and media transmission building were expanded to 60, which was 30 in the first place. The Institute is subsidiary to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University (CSVTU) and carrying shrubs to the University. GEC Jagdalpur offers 6 undergrad and 2 post-graduate courses. Two post-graduate courses as basic building in common and warm designing in mechanical with limits of 18-18 separately. 

Campus - 

• The college campus is spread over a territory of 69 sections of land. It is situated in the middle of Dharampura, Negigudha, Ghatpadmoor and Kalipur. The college campus is encompassed by dividers and has three passage, the primary passageway opens before Bastar college, second passage is landed on the Chitrakote street and different opens towards private complex. 

Structures: 

• The primary authoritative structure contains Office, Account area, college library, Exam segment and Swayam prabha room. The flow campus contains Civil structure, Electrical structure, Mechanical structure, Mining building, IT building and Electronics and Telecommunication building where separate divisions are being run. The present campus has a workshop where alongside Physics and Chemistry offices are being run.
