Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS) was built up as an, undergrad foundation for M.B.B.S. degree course in October tenth, 2001 with the admission of 180 restorative understudies every year under Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur C.G. subsidized by State Govt. of Chhattisgarh. CIMS kept running by State Govt under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The old govt. region clinic (Dharam Hospital-350 bedded), Bilaspur C.G. was changed over into the CIMS's medical clinic with 300 beds and all staffs of area emergency clinic were combined.
Last MCI assessment for acknowledgment of M.B.B.S. degree was done on eighteenth and nineteenth July 2006 and the last M.B.B.S (Part II) assessment was valued and according to MCI standards as referenced in the investigation report. Consistency check examination was done on eighth and ninth Feb. 2007. what's more, 31.05.2007.
Acknowledgment for M.B.B.S degree was given by govt. of India, Ministry of Health and FW vide its letter no U.12012/72/2000-ME (P-II) dated 23rd July 2007. furthermore, partnered to AYUSH and Health Sciences University of Chhattisgarh, Raipur CG.
