Rosary College of Commerce and Arts was set up by the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman in June 1990. The College owes its origin to the unselfish activity recently Rev. Can. Jose Roberto Vaz, who was then the Parish Priest of Rosary Church. The College is overseen by the Diocesan Society of Education and is a minority organization under article 30 (1) of the Indian Constitution. Rosary College has been worked by the Fabrica of Nossa Senhora do Rosario, Navelim, on the whole with the returns of the clearance of properties having a place with the Fabrica, Confraria de Nossa Senhora do Rosario and Confraria do Santissimo Sacramento. The College has gained strident ground over the most recent 29 years and in all respects as of late another, completely autonomous and independent wing has been built because of the activity of the present Principal Rev. Dr. Simao R. Diniz. The new wing, which turned out to be completely practical from the scholarly year 2012-13, was developed because of a range of new courses acquainted with keep pace with the expanding prerequisites of the business.
