Candidates must have secured a minimum percentage of Grade 10+2 (or equivalent) in the Class 12 board exam. Specific minimum percentages and required courses may vary by program and year. Admission to most engineering universities, including GNDIT, is based on national or state engineering entrance exams. For example, Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) is often used in India. You must take the relevant entrance exam and obtain a qualifying score. Some universities, including state institutions, may have residency requirements. This means that you need to be a resident of the respective state (in this case Delhi) to get a particular quota or reserved seat.
Library and Reading Room
Library and reading room facilities are available only to students and staff of the College. The College library has an excellent collection of over 1,20,000 books and magazines. The library is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, that is, from Monday to Friday. The library is open to students on Saturdays, but book issue and return options are not available. The library is completely digital using the latest software.
Hostel
Established in 1974, Daulat Ram College Hostel is a home away from home. Designed to provide exclusive accommodation for the College's 200 female students, the Daulat Ram campus is located in a wooded area with good metro and road links to other parts of the city. It offers state-of-the-art facilities including air-conditioned rooms, on-site laundry facilities and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Staff Room
In addition to the library, the College has a well-equipped staff room with computer facilities and lockers. The study area is Wi-Fi enabled for easy access to research and learning materials.
College Auditorium - Sadbhavna Bhawan
College Auditorium, Sadbhavna Bhawan, is a proscenium hall with a large stage and a seating capacity of over 1,400 seats, perfect for theatrical activities and theatrical performances with large casts. All important intra-College and inter-College events are also held in the auditorium.
Conference Hall
Conference Hall can accommodate 200 people. Since its establishment in October 2016, numerous scientific workshops, seminars, and conferences have been held. The hall is fully air conditioned and equipped with his WiFi, the best audio system with digital projection. The College organizes inter-College, intra-College and inter-faculty activities in this hall. It was a big win for the College.
Seminar Hall
The College's seminar hall is the venue for a variety of activities throughout the year. Activities in the Seminar Room range from curricular and extracurricular seminars, lectures, debates, discussions, and workshops to Student Union events, NSS, and Women's Development Center activities. It serves as the perfect venue for undergraduate valedictorian and freshman programs. The hall is air-conditioned and can accommodate up to 200 people. Wooden panels allow you to divide the space, making it convenient to use a large area for multiple purposes at the same time.
Amphitheater
Ranshara's open-air amphitheater provides young students with a stage to hone their talent, communication and performance skills. Many prestigious events were held and provided a forum for many aspiring artists. It's a great place for a variety of activities such as nukadnatak, club practice, and dance performances. College Cafeteria
College Cafeteria offers a variety of menu items at subsidized prices. College cafeterias provide students with healthy and nutritious meals. A carefully selected selection of fresh and hygienically prepared dishes is available for breakfast and lunch. In addition to prepared foods, students can also purchase packaged branded snacks.
Nescafé Corner
Nestled between the benches and the cafeteria, the Nescafé Corner serves as a quiet space for brainstorming sessions outside of the classroom. The kiosk offers a variety of hot and cold drinks and side dishes. Benches and round tables outside also add to the atmosphere.
Register for and pass the required engineering course entrance exam. For Delhi, you can appear for JEE Main exam or any other related exam. Usually, GNDIT publishes the admission notification after the entrance exam results are announced. You will need to fill out a university application online and pay the application fee. Based on the entrance exam results and other eligibility criteria, the educational institution prepares a merit list. If you meet the exclusion criteria, you will be invited to a consultation meeting. During counseling you can select your preferred engineering branch based on rank and availability. Please prepare all necessary documents for verification. After consultation, we will allocate seats according to your preference and rank. You must pay the admission fee to confirm your seat. For verification, you will need to submit required documents such as 10th and 12th mark sheets, entrance exam result sheets, address proof documents, etc.
