Jammu College of Physiotherapy (JCP) under the umbrella of Shri Sain Charitable Trust for Higher Education and Research is the pioneer institute of Physiotherapy in the state of Jammu and Kashmir and is providing services in the field of physiotherapy since 2002.Over the years the college has gained a distinct recognisation of being an important and the only institute for imparting the course of Physiotherapy in the State of Jammu and Kashmir.The College is having excellent infrastructure one of the best in the country with the state of art laboratories, Lecture rooms, Direction Hall, Museum and well equipped library College is having experienced faculty for teaching Medical and Physiotherapy subjects, with ancillary technical staff for managing laboratories.

Library

The college has the library facility for all students.The Institute has a well ventilated and updated Library with over 4000 books, current and back issues of National/International journals of repute, including abstracts.The library is updated every year. The library subscribes magazines, newspapers & journals relating to topics of general nature and Specialized field of science.

Laboratories

The college has departmental based laboratories facility for the students. Biomechanics is the study of the structure and function of biological systems such as humans, animals, plants, organs, and cells by means of the methods of mechanics. In other words, Biomechanics is the study of the mechanical laws relating to the structure or movement of living organisms. It involves factors such as how the body applies force on itself and to other bodies which it comes into contact with.

Cafeteria

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.College runs a very decent cafeteria maintaining hygienic standard of food items at a very reasonable price.

The regulations/guidelines specified herein are applicable for admission of candidates to various UG and PG programs offered byJammu College of Physiotherapy . These are subject to change according the orders of the UGC, the AICTE, the State Government, the Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Commissioner ofJammu College of Physiotherapy  and the Conveners of various UG and PG Common Entrance Tests etc. from time to time.The admission to the course, under “Category A” seats, is through a state level entrance test called “Engineering, Agricultural Sciences and Medical Common Entrance Test” (EAMCET), conducted by Telangana State Council of Higher Education. And The Admission into the MBA Course, Under Category “A” through the state level entrance test called “TS ICET (Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test).

The Training & Placement Cell facilitates the process of placement of students passing out The Training and Placement Cell of our institute vigorously endeavors at shaping up the career prospectus of its students by exposing them to the actual world of work through a close rapport and liaison with industry and business houses .It extends hand holding support to its student for their appropriate placement on completion of their course of studies from the college .It acts as a two way bridge between the faculty / students of institute and the industry, which helps in flow of academic knowledge from institute and knowledge of practical operations and latest trends and techniques from the industry. This helps in  meeting the  dynamically changing demands of the industry/ workplace . The Training and Placement team comprises of T&P coordinators from each department, who submit proposals and recommendations pertaining to Training & Placemen needs of their respective departments .
