This prestigious institute was founded in 1963 by Dr. Vishnu Ganesh Vaishampayan.The Undergraduate MCI recognition for MBBS Courses was obtained in 1974. Initially a private medical college,it was overtaken by government in 1977.MCI recognition for post graduate courses was obtained in 1977.The progress of the college continues till today and now it’s one of the most recognized college for Undergraduate and postgraduate medical education in India. Nearly 100% of the students get placements after completing MBBS from the college The average package of students is 6 lakh rupees per anum Students become eligible after completing 4.5 years of college and 1 year of internship

As it is a govt medical college, all students have to work as interns in the civil hospitals for 1 yr compulsorily. The striped as of now is 13k per month

Most students don't go for jobs after the course and prepare for NEET PG. The curriculum itself has one year compulsory internship to be done in the civil hospital after completion of the course. The college provides the resources needed for the same. The stipend is as per rules of Maharashtra government about Rs8000 pm.

It doesn't matter if the internship you performed was paid, unpaid, or for college credits

we don't have any placements in the college itself we have so many opportunities when we pass MBBS. Our college provide internship which is of 1 year which include 7 to 9000rs per month. About the job we can do private practice or we can join the government hospital
