Founded by Shri Hashji Advani, Vivekanand Education Society started its educational activities in 1962 with just 256 students in high schools. The club celebrated his 50th anniversary in 2013. The club has experienced significant growth over the past 56 years. Under the aegis of VES, it is an outstanding and affordable educational complex consisting of more than 21 universities, schools and other centers with 20,004 students, 750 teaching staff and 465 non-teaching staff. The association provides education from kindergarten through graduation, graduate school, and doctoral degrees. and research by highly talented, qualified, and competent faculty. The Harsh Advani Memorial Complex houses colleges of engineering, pharmacy and management affiliated with the University of Mumbai, as well as separate hostels for men and women. We also plan to add new courses in collaboration with overseas universities.The VES college of Pharmacy was started in July 2007, in a very seven storied separate building in Hashu Advani Memorial complicated, Chembur (E), Mumbai, with a built up space of 5052 sq. mts. Boys Hostel : The college provides a boy`s hostel facility to the students. The hostel is situated in Hashu Advani Memorial Complex (HAMC). VESCP Hostel Facility is provided to students on a first come first serve basis. Each hostel has its own warden.
Girls Hostel : Vivekanand Education Society`s College of Pharmacy provides separate hostel facilities to its girl's students. VESCP Girls Hostel is well-equipped, clean and spacious with all modern amenities. The university has a separate director to ensure the safety of female students. The university hostel provides students with hygienic meals, television, and indoor games such as table tennis, carom, and chess.
Medical/Hospital: The University provides a separate medical room in case of emergency. We have all the equipment available, including Aram chairs, folding statues, wheeled statues, wheelchairs, blood pressure monitors, and stethoscopes. The college has a tie-up with a doctor for emergency care, also a consultant is available in the medical room throughout the working hours.
Library : VESCP Mumbai has a library with a collection of over 5953 books on technical subjects of Pharmacy. It also includes books from Psychology, Economics, Management, Accountancy, and Mathematics along with standard dictionaries and Encyclopaedias. International Pharmacopoeia (IP, BP, USP, European Pharmacopoeia, Martindale, Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia, Herbal Pharmacopoeia). VESCP Library has OPAC (online public access catalog) which helps students to check their own library account and catalog.
