Raja Balwant Singh College, Agra (once in the past Balwant Rajput College, Agra), was built up route in 1885 by Raja Balwant Singh Ji of Awagarh state. At first it was begun as Balwant Rajput High School. Col. Dobson and Sir E.H. Forsyth were its Headmasters for very significant lot. Balwant Educational Society was made so as to protect the interests of this establishment. The High school was raised to the degree of a middle of the road school in 1928 and to that of a degree school in 1940. The pace of advancement of the school from 1940 onwards has nearly been amazing and is obvious from its colossal stature by and by. At present Raja Balwant Singh College, Agra, is spread more than 1000 sections of land of land and 5 grounds.
