Government Medical College, Haldwani (some time ago known as Uttarakhand Forest Hospital Trust Medical College) is a restorative school in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, India. It was built up in 1997. The school is subsidiary with Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University, Dehradun. Otherwise called GMC Haldwani, it is one of the quickly developing private and co-instructive restorative schools in India. The establishment of the restorative school was laid on 19 March 1997, by Shri Romesh Bhandari, the then legislative leader of Uttar Pradesh. In May 2004, the school began its first admission of 100 MBBS understudies.
By April 2010, "Uttarakhand Forest Hospital Trust" had been dissolved.[2] All of the five foundations operational under the trust had been taken over by Department of Medical Education (Government of Uttarakhand) to work under the name of Government Medical College, Haldwani from 1 May 2010.
