Agricultural education teaches students about natural resources, food and agriculture. Students can learn wide variety of skills, communications, leadership, science, math and technology.management through these subjects. Three-circle model of instruction is used in Agricultural Education. These are leadership development, classroom and laboratory instruction, and experiential learning. Candidates who wants to be leaders in agriculture, business, and industry they can became by successful integration of each of these three components.
Through three interconnected components Agricultural education is delivered.
- Classroom or laboratory instruction - Learning experience that are Supervised by the agriculture instructor in the classrooms via lectures.
- Experiential learning - Learning experience that are Supervised by the agriculture instructor and Usually take place outside of the classroom.
- Leadership education - Learning experience delivered through student organizations such as National Postsecondary Agricultural Student Organization, the National Young Farmer Education Association, National FFA Organization and others
