IAR is a reputed private university comes in the year 2011 by Puri Foundation for Education in all over India by The Gujarat Private Universities Amendent Act, 2011 with an goal to make Excellence in Education and Research. It is located on the bank of river Sabarmati, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Also it has a full-fledged campus equipped with all the facilities for the candidates. It is established by a UK funded charity to provide world class researches and education. When graduate candidates progress to top universities like Texas, Yale, & Oklahoma. Library

It has journals and books from complementary and relevant areas of programs of study offered. Computer and internet facilities are also available in the library. Photocopying, Scanning and Printing facilities are also available in the library.

Hostel Facilities

Limited number of hostel accommodation is available for candidates inside the campus.

Canteen

In this campus messing facilities and full day cafe are available for candidates. Only Indian vegetarian meals are served. Also it is available for all candidates and staff in the university.

Computer Center

Also it has a dedicated computer center where candidates can access facilities as per their convenience.

Student Guidance Cell

It has been created to assist candidates in day-to-day activities. Also it provides assistance, besides other issues such as admission procedure, arranging, hostel facilities, transport facilities, guidance to female students, financial support etc.

Transport

It also provides transport facilities for candidates coming from Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar on payment through a partnership with a neighbouring institution. Taxi and Auto-Rickshaws are also available for travel to Railway Stations, Airport and Bus stands.

Sports

In this campus various outdoor and indoor sports facilities are also available. It has been organised on regular basis in the campus. Cansdidates participate in Cricket, Volleyball, Athletics and other sports.

Picnics & Short Tours

In this campus picnics and short tours are held to important media houses, cultural heritage sites, local entertainment and amusement parks nature and locations friendly environments.

Cultural Activities

Cultural activities are also organized on regular basis in this campus. Candidates participate in creative work, recitations, rangoli, dance, drama and song, painting and drawing competitions in every semester. The candidates enjoy festivals and get togethar on festivals like Independance Day, Christmas, Ganpati Puja, Diwali and Navratri.

Institute of Advanced Research Ph.D. Admission

Through structured education, training and research Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is the highest degree one can gain. Two of the most important aspects of the Institute of
Advanced researches are education and training of doctoral students. Through research in doctoral degree leads to exciting careers in India and abroad the pursuit of knowledge.
To advance the knowledge to address national and global challenges Ph.D. students also play a key role in our commitment.
To relate the student’s research to a broader knowledge in the area of study and to develop appropriate conceptual and methodological skills these skills include the ability to formulate a problem that requires research and investigation.

Graduates can seek many career paths after the successful completion of the Ph.D. qualification

Eligibility

Candidate should have Master Degree in Arts, Master Degree in Science, Master Degree in Education, Master Degree in Commerce with 50% marks for who cleared Master before 1991 and 55% marks for those who cleared Master Degree after 1991 from a recognized university. Candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) will get relaxation of 5% marks. The candidate will get admission after he will be clear the Entrance Test Organised by the university.
A relaxation of two years for Ph.D. in the maximum duration may be allowed to women candidates and Persons with Disability (more than 40% disability). For up to 240 days women candidates may be provided Maternity Leave/Child Care Leave once in the entire duration.
