The Centre for Biotechnology was established in 2006 underneath the college of Life Sciences. it's internationally glorious for its analysis in numerous disciplines of Biotechnology. The Centre has 2 M.Sc. programmes in Biotechnology and Agricultural Biotechnology, and Ph.D. programme. The Centre received funding from the DST for manus, UGC for SAP, DRS-1 and DBT for IPLS. There area unit 9 regular teaching school members and one UGC-BSR school Fellow.
