St. Joseph's College of Commerce, once a piece of St. Joseph's College was built up in the year 1882 as an instructive activity by the French outside mission Fathers. It is perceived under Section 2(f) and 12B of the UGC Act. It turned into a self-governing establishment in October 2004. St. Joseph's College of Commerce was perceived as a "College with Potential for Excellence" in February 2010 by UGC.
