job is must as doctors are necessary in society. Yes my college provides internship. stipend is around 12000per month if not residing in hostel. Very good experience. All the departments are good and patients are enough.Placement rate of our college is quiet good. Internship opportunities are also available. College offers 14 months internship for students. Many final year students have got placement in reputed hospitals in the city. The college offers opportunity to work with while pursuing MD to the students.The placement and job opportunities in the field of medicine are enormous. The jobs in health sector are many in both government and private sectors with high salary packages. The college also provides internships with stipend.10month internship which may extend upto 14 months according to our performance is mandatory for this course. Stipend amount of about 10000INR is usually given for interns. Stipend amount is reduced in hostellers.Yes, you can do internship in same college or other hospitals. For choosing any other hospital you need a paper from college. They will provide it but it is not free. The college has its own hospital.Job opportunies are enormous. The college is under a well recognised university- Kerala University of Health and Sciences, under which all the medical institutions of Kerala state comes. The degree is valid round the globe as it recognised by the Medical Council of India and the graduates need not find it difficult to get job.
