Rao Mohar Singh College of Education, Behrampur, Gurgaon was accepted in 1974 due to persistent efforts made through Rao Mahavir Singh as a tribute to his father Rao Mohar Singh, ‘The Grand Old Man of Ahirwal’. The main purpose behind the initiation of this institution was to offer a platform for professional study to the educationally backward regions of Ahirwal & Mewat. The college had a self-effacing beginning in rented premises at Hailey Mandi, Jatauli, Gurgaon. With a calculation to face all odds, the founder President Rao Mahavir singh Ji donated his ancestral land in Behrampur to the college. The college was successfully shifted to the collective Capital of India at Behrampur, Sector-74, (near Hero Honda Chowk), Gurgaon in the year 1976. This college was revived with a latest spark by the efforts made along Shri Narbir Singh, son of Rao Mahavir Singh in 2006. The college has a well planned and beautifully landscaped campus of four acres covered with green turfs and a variety of evergreen plants. With the view to offer the candidates with an excellent environment for learning, a most artistic and functional college building with a colorful atmosphere has been constructed in the campus.

Psychology Lab:

The psychology lab is provided with a large number of apparatus and tests on many aspects of psychology such as a child’s socio-economic, intellectual, personality and behavior dimensions. Knowledge of these psychological aspects is all-important to understand the needs of a child-focus curriculum and modalities of its transaction.

The trainees learn many components of child psychology through several psychological tests which help to understand their candidates better.
