Centre for Computer Science and Applications (in the past known as Center for Computer Studies) is one of the head foundations of North-East-India conferring PC education.Dibrugarh University started its voyage of bestowing PC instruction by setting up a Computer Center in 1976. The Computer Center was built up with the target of making Computer mindfulness among the instructors, look into researchers and workers of the University. It began Computer training by presenting a "Six-months Certificate Course on Computer Programming". It additionally prepared the representatives of different banks including State Bank of India, Dibrugarh college Branch and helped them in computerization. In 2004, it was moved up to the Center for Computer Studies (CCS) and a "Post-Graduate Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA)" course was begun. BCA was presented in July, 2004 and MCA and BSc (IT) were presented in January and July, 2007, individually. In 2018, the name of the inside has been changed to "Community for Computer Science and Applications".
