About Master of Legislative Laws (LLM)

LLM or Master of Legislative Laws is a globally recognized postgraduate degree that is studied by students from different academic backgrounds, but students with LLB backgrounds are preferred. • If the applicant has completed a law degree, that is, the applicant has obtained a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Laws/Comprehensive five-year LLM program from an accredited university/college, he is eligible to apply for admission to the LLM program. 
• In addition, some universities also set a minimum percentage requirement for the LLM programs they offer. 
• As part of the eligibility criteria shared by these universities, candidates must obtain at least 55% of the overall grade at the graduation level to be eligible for admission to the LLM program they offer.

Entrance exam: Some universities conduct both national and university entrance exams. Students must apply for the exam on the official website of the lead agency. Some of the main entrance exams are CLAT, AILET, LSAT. Students must verify the eligibility criteria for these exams before applying. 

Distance Education Mode: Some colleges use distance education mode to provide a master's degree in legislation law for students who are unable to attend classes normally. Candidates must introduce themselves during the exam. The university also delivers books by mail. Some universities that provide distance education models in L.L.M are IGNOU, Annamalai University, and so on.
