PhD PLANT MOLECULAR BIOLOGY ADMISSION PROCESS:

Admission to the PhD programme shall be based on the candidates marks obtained in the entrance test conducted by the respective department of school of the particular or each university or college. Those competitors who have complete their GATE or NET/SET/ M.Phil/JRF Examination in the pertinent subjects of the apex bodies as CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR/DBT will be Disown from the Entrance Test. While giving the exemption, the Departmental Committee of the university may be consider research work or earlier PhD or experience done by the candidate. If a student already holds the Doctor degree in the relevant subject from a UGC Approved University or College, he or she may be exempted from entrance exam and pre PhD coursework. After clearing the both steps the candidate will be eligible to pay the course fee or registration fee. Only the predetermined number of students may be admitted to PhD programme of Plant Molecular Biology.
